PumpToys standard quick-disconnect or "SD" hose coupler system fits to 1/8" NPT threading in the cylinder. Part numbers for the standard couplings end in ".18". This is the coupler design used by virtually all makers of pumps and cylinders. All PumpToys products use the .18 coupler; thus all our products are compatible with your other brand cylinders and pumps.

Cylinder Body connector parts (SD B , female) are equipped with an internal automatic valve. This valve is open when the male half is in place, and shuts instantly when it is removed. This allows you to disconnect the vac line with the cylinder in place and retain the vac level. You may relieve the vacuum (through the valve body) by either connecting the male part and using the relief on your pump, or you may depress the internal valve by inserting any small blunt point object into the body opening and depressing the valve lightly.

PumpToys (and most manufacturers) use o-ring seals between the cylinder and connector; the O-ring is included when you order a body part. All line insert (SD I , male) couplers have a 1/4" barb type hose connection, designed to insert directly into tubing with a 1/4" ID or inside diameter. Vac line may be ordered below.

For specialty applications, we have expanded our in-stock fittings to now include a 90° male quick-disconnect elbow, plus a heavy duty "Y" connector. The male 90° elbow can be used anywhere you would otherwise use the standard male insert but need to save room or quickly direct your vac line to one side for comfort. The sturdy wye or "Y" insert is a non-valved 3-way press in connector for 1/4" vac line which lets you attach multiple cylinders to a single vacuum source. A great way to share the fun with your partner!

Note: Always use clear vinyl vac line tubing with your pump. Clear tube allows you to see the inside condition of the tube, any contamination present, and need for cleaning. This can prevent pulling water into the pump as well. Visibility (and a clean vac line) is especially important if you use oral suction at any time. Tubing is not expensive- replace any tube which can't be cleaned thoroughly.

Remember that each part number represents only one part or side of a two-part connector. Standard Duty parts are by far the most common type, but we cannot guarantee they are interchangeable with your cylinder. All connectors are sold by the half part. If you have three cylinders and one pump- you only need four parts total (3 bodies and one insert), as long as all your parts are compatible.
