GLYDE has become a favorite, the lubricant of choice for virtually everyone who has tried it. While it was designed specifically to improve the process of pumping, it's been found to have certain ideal qualities, and is widely used in a variety of ways as a personal lubricant. Glyde is made of all natural ingredients!

Lubricants have always been a problem.
Greasy, messy, too slick or not slick enough. Many lubricants are water or emulsion base and break down in contact with water or your body, and quickly lose their lubricating qualities. The chemicals in most lubricants also damage the materials most pumping equipment is made of- Acrylic plastics, vinyl seals, etc. Pump bodies get dull, yellow and develop crazing, and- eventually get brittle and crack.

The common problem causing damage is petroleum or mineral bases!
This includes Albolene®, Vaseline®, baby oil and mineral oil as well as most hand lotions, make-up removal creams and cosmetic products. Look at the ingredients of the lube you use: IF you find the words petroleum, petrolatum, paraffin, paraffinium, mineral or any anything similar, you have a petroleum based product. Many of these also have water as an ingredient, so don't let that fool you. Water and petroleum oils do mix, in what's called an emulsion. Still bad for your equipment!
