Important International Shipping Information regarding ordering for: ALL EU MEMBER STATES •PLUS• NORWAY & SWITZERLAND-
Last Updated: August 22, 2025
In a recent move similar in ways to the changes in import shipment requirements which arose from the Brexit action by the UK, the European Union has decided to also initiate a major shift in how shipment of foreign goods being imported to all countries of the EU are managed. The new standards and requirements established in this action could, for many internet and small business merchants potentially be insurmountable and mean an end to their conducting business with clients residing in any of the Member States, Norway or Switzerland; for other merchants, like PumpToys, it first and immediately creates a new, untimely issue which forces us to yet again suspend any and all acceptance of orders or shipments to anyone living in one of the 27 Member States or other countries whose government has chosen to also adopt these same new regulations while we adjust and re-structure our international sales documentation and data handling to meet with the EU's new requirements. Once the initial problems and tasks have all been satisfied, the long-term impact of this move is not yet entirely clear, save that without question the new burdens the EU has placed upon the foreign merchant are going to assuredly mean a marked increase to the cost of doing business and unfortunately this will translate into price increases on goods being sold.
We are currently working to satisfy all the new shipping requirements, and will resume sales and shipments to our clients in Member States and other countries who've adopted these same requirements as quickly as we can. At this time I cannot offer a valid idea of what the time frame will be, but we will update this message as things become more certain. Thank you for your patronage, and your patience- Dave
Been Trying to Reach Us by Phone and getting voicemail? Our phone lines have regularly been tied up almost non-stop, often with 2-3 calls ringing in que. Our phone policy has always been such that calls are only to be answered by qualified Senior Team Members; as Dan is now retired this leaves just Dave. At present, we'd ask that where possible please direct product questions through email when you can; this should provide you with a quicker response to any questions you have. Please bear in mind that some emails may take longer to see a reply, depending on the depth and number of questions. If you must reach us by phone, please remember that our phone system uses a 'rolling' bank of numbers, therefor when returning a call to you it will appear as a blocked number without a caller ID, so we won't be able to reach you if you block anonymous calls, sorry.
Shipment of Domestic Orders:
Orders delivering within the USA are generally arriving without delay, however USPS has extended Priority 2-3 day service to a shipping time of 3-5 days, but delivery within estimated time is not guaranteed. Delays related to winter weather now appear to be cleared up, but shipping times are still running long.
Effective Monday, March 1, USPS has suspended all delivery date guarantees for Domestic items shipped with Priority Mail Express service until further notice.
Shipment of International Orders: While somewhat improved, serious delay and delivery issues with international shipping continue to be a problem. Due to this situation, we have been forced to temporarily suspend acceptance of international orders to many countries until further notice, with the following exceptions:
Canada- Orders are being accepted and shipped, but you should expect some delays in delivery.
United Kingdom- Orders are being accepted and shipped, some minor delays in delivery are possible.
For orders shipping to all other countries, please email inquiry about service to your location before placing an order.
We will update this notice as new information becomes available. Thank you, and be safe-
Dave

SEE THE NEW REQUIREMENTS BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER
From USPS: Effective Aug. 26, 2022, delays are expected for all shipments destined for the United Kingdom due to labor shortages.
Good news! We have resumed accpetance of UK-based orders after much deliberation and consideration in regard to the changes in doing business brought about with the UK leaving the EU, most especially the decision by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs to place the burden for VAT tax recording, reporting and collection upon the non-UK world merchants as a means of helping to "level the playing field" for the competing UK merchant.
While we wish nothing but the best for merchants of the UK, we do not feel compelled to assist with the recording, reporting and collection of taxes for any government beyond our own. This decision means that we must institute a few restrictions/requirements for all orders billed to and/or shipping to the UK, as follows:
For commercial orders- 1. A minimum merchandise purchase of $200 US is required, not including shipping costs. 2. Include your VAT registration number. Your order will be shipped with notation on your invoice/declarations documents that VAT and any other import duty or costs due have not been collected and is to be reversed to your VAT number and collected from you.
For private, non-commercial orders- 1. A minimum merchandise purchase of $200 US is required, not including shipping costs. Your order will be shipped with notation on your invoice/declarations documents that VAT and any other import duty or costs due have not been collected and are the responsibility of and to be collected from the purchasing consumer.
•Any UK orders received which do not meet with these requirements will be declined and canceled. No exceptions•
