Since it's introduction in 2005, this system has opened the door to Dynamic Pumping, a new concept without precedent. The knowledge of the effects it has as well as it's popularity are expanding daily. QS-7 owners around the world tell us it's unlike anything they have ever had before- 100% positive reports!
UPDATE: November 21, 2011 If you are a Windows7 user who connects to the internet and has the Windows Update service turned on you likely have discovered that Windows Update is far from foolproof, having determined that there was a better driver available for QuickSilver, which it promptly installed, and probably without even asking. Only problem is, this new driver found and installed by Windows Update does not work. My apologies to all for the longer than expected wait while this issue was resolved and I'm pleased to announce that the wait is over and a new driver is here for download which corrects the trouble. The installation is simple, after downloading the .zip file just decompress/extract the files to your Desktop, then with the QS7 connected and on open Device Manager (in Control Panel) and locate the QS7 driver, which should be the yellow 'flagged' item listed under Ports & Com. Use the 'Update Driver' option, selecting "search for drivers in a specific location I choose" and using 'Browse' direct the search towards the location where you extracted the .zip file. Special Notes: 1. As the system prepares to install the new driver, you'll get a warning that Windows cannot verify the file; respond choosing to 'install anyway'. 2. (If not already there) As the installation completes, your system will have created a second listing, under USB devices, which also needs to be updated to this new driver package by repeating the 'Update Driver' command and follow-thru exactly as before. Once the new driver is installed there should be no further problems with the Update service attempting to over-write it, and as added precaution against such the new driver appears with a creation date of 3/2015, by which time we'll have made some additional changes and embedded further, more specific product class identifiers that will prevent any future re-occurrences of this type.
You can download the new driver pack from Win7 Driver The new driver works with all Windows operating systems, but is not required unless Windows Update has changed your QS7 drivers and you are now experiencing trouble. This driver pack does not include any new operational function; it merely overrides the improper driver replacement selected and installed by Windows Update.
QuickSilver 2 is set to be released very soon. It will include several function fixes, plus an increased capacity for max Events per .pro file to 100. Hassle-free installation, too; QuickSilver 1.5 users simply swap the program file and you're good to go!
The QuickSilver 1.5 "Install Suite" opens to offer many options.
Release 1.5 includes new graphics, the ability to maximize and remove background conflicts, minimize, help button on-screen, improved navigation, elimination of some nuisance limitations and bugs in the editing process, new driver system, a new and far better installation and driver association process. It's showing full compatibility with current Win 98, XP, and Vista operating systems, with a few notations listed in the trouble-shooting section. The programs functions are fully recognizable to existing users, and is no new learning curve. The screens are uncluttered, the commands easy to use. It also includes a much larger library of .pro and .run files; 65 ready to run programs!
More improvements to QuickSilver are already in the works. The list includes:
Feedback is increasing, and as it does we are discovering more of the unique advantages of Dynamic Pumping with the QS-7.
"I am very grateful to be able to advise that my wife and I absolutely love both the process of using and the "benefits" of a session of use of our Vaculogic QS7 Programmable Vacuum Servers. We have come to truly appreciate "what all the fuss was about" with respect to the overwhelmingly positive early feedback from users of these products. We cannot thank you enough for having courage enough to support development of such a creative, superb, innovative, unique and revolutionary product."
"It is a fantastic piece of equipment which packs a huge wallop of power as you know. I have used it for several hours at a time and it is so exquisitely sensitive to my every movement.....I have cooked meals while wearing it, I have watched tv, etc., and have even slept with it on all night a couple of nights at low pressure. Fantastic! Thanks for all your hard work in bringing this unique system to the pumping community."
"Just had to write to tell you that the QS-7 arrived yesterday, and I've used it for several hours. I could not be more pleased! This is my 3rd purchase from PumpToys and I am continually impressed by the quality of your products and your superb customer service. Keep up the good work. You have a customer for life."

HERE'S HOW:We have completed a new driver package which resolves issues created by Win7 and Windows Update service erroneously replacement of the QuickSilver and QS7 drivers. Little tricks for 1.5:
Having errors messages? Tech support has been logging problems reported in tech support calls and the solutions as we have found for them. The majority of problems we have seen with 1.5 come from these sources:
There are numerous types of Runtime Error, most of which you will never see when using QuickSilver. Only 3 types are found the most likely to occur with QuickSilver, and in many cases a little better understanding of what they mean will prevent their happening.
RUNTIME ERROR 9; Subscript out of range
This error message is relatively straight-forward about it's cause; A subscript out of range means your program has just encountered a command or data entry it is incapable of managing, most commonly referring to a mathematical formula that is too complex for the software to parse. In QuickSilver, this almost always will be referring to .pro entries which in construction or editing have grown fractional entries that extend beyond tenths to include hundredths or even thousandths.
CHECKING YOUR PROFILES-
After you first create or edit a .pro file, right-click the file and select 'Open With', then choosing Notepad as your format. When opened, the file will look much like the one shown here:
When viewed in Notepad, there are two items to watch for:
1. The very top line (<11< as seen here) must never be a zero <0<; this is the number of times the series of Events is set to be run.
2. Any line that displays a number incuding more than a single digit behind the decimal.
If you have extra digits, you can delete them (rounding off up or down to the tenth as/if you like), then save and close. Saving by use of Ctrl + S will save any changes made while retaining the .pro format.
When the slidebar is used to increase the 'Number of Cycles', repeating a series of Events while creating a profile, the natural method of doing such is to click and hold while dragging the slidebar indicator. When dragged, the slidebar tool unfortunately doesn't always break at whole increments, and may create a repeat cycle for instance of 16.4 times vs. 16, then 17, etc.
Alternately, the Number of Cycles chosen may not be equally divisible with one of the Hold or Transition times. Either of these can result in a fraction that may extend beyond tenths, creating a number with more than a single digit behind the decimal point. When a profile is played, QuickSilver is only expecting, and only able to read, numeric values inclusive of tenths, so if an entry contains hundredths or thousandths-bang- RTError 9 will appear.
